Process of Obtaining a Driving License

first step

01

Registration

Register with a JPJ-licensed driving academy and select your license type (Class D – Manual or Class DA – Automatic).

02

Medical Check Up (If Required)

Complete a basic medical examination if required by JPJ before proceeding with training

third step

03

Theory Classes (KPP01)

Attend KPP01 theory classes to learn traffic rules, road signs, and safe driving practices.

JPJ Theory Test
We take responsibility for our role in the community and are committed to our policy.

Learner’s Driving License (LDL)

Obtain your Learner’s Driving License (LDL) to begin practical driving lessons

06

Practical Driving Training

Complete circuit and on-road driving lessons under the guidance of licensed instructors.

JPJ Practical Test

Take the JPJ Practical Driving Test, which includes both circuit and road tests.

Receive your Probationary Driving License (PDL – P-Plate). After the probation period, upgrade to a Competent Driving License (CDL).

Frequently asked questions

We offer courses for learner drivers (L license), probationary drivers (P license), and advanced driving courses. Courses include manual and automatic transmission lessons.

You must be at least 16 years old to enroll in a learner driving course. For certain advanced courses, a minimum age of 17–18 may apply.

You will need:

  • A valid identification card (MyKad / passport)

  • Medical report (if required)

  • Learner driving license (if already issued)

You can book online via our website, call our office, or visit in person. We offer flexible scheduling to fit your availability.
